It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Lou LeDoux Guillory, a cherished mother,
grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who peacefully departed this world on Thursday, February
22, 2024. At the age of 97, Mary Lou transcended to eternal peace in the comforting presence of her
beloved family at her home.
Mary Lou’s life will be honored and commemorated with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on
Saturday, February 24, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Following the service, she will be
laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery, accompanied by Father Randal Moreau as the Celebrant and Father
Hampton Davis as Con Celebrant.
Born on November 23, 1926, Mary Lou was the beloved daughter of Arnold and Adeline Ardoin Guillory.
Throughout her life, Mary Lou remained deeply involved with various organizations within her parish at
St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. She actively participated in the Catholic Daughters, Ladies Altar
Society, and the Silver Bells Ladies Dancing Team.
Mary Lou’s interests extended to traveling, cooking and dancing; however, her greatest joy was found in
spending quality time with her family and friends, particularly relishing moments with her three sons:
Daniel Guillory Jr., and wife, Carla, David Guillory and wife, Stephanie and, Stephen Don Guillory and
wife, Donna all of Eunice.
Her legacy lives on through her adoring grandchildren Kasha Guillory (David), Mia Guillory Porter (Jared),
Kami Guillory Landry (Jarrod) Danae Guillory Day (Ryan), Erik Guillory (Rachel), Stephen Guillory II,
Ashley Guillory LeJeune (Jordy), Dustin Guillory (Olivia), Shane Heinen (Amanda), Jace Young (Miranda)
and Jason Rider; twenty-three great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; along with
extended family members and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Guillory, parents Arnold and Adeline Ardoin Guillory, as
well as brothers Jack and Edmund LeDoux.
The rosary ceremony prior to the Mass will be conducted by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 10:30 am on
Saturday, February 24, 2024 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The Catholic Daughter will make an honor
guard for her departure.
During this period of mourning and reflection, we draw strength from the outpouring of support from
