Michael Ross McCullough Sr. passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at the age of 72.
No services have been scheduled at this time.
Michael is survived by his wife, Brenda Bourgeois McCullough, two sons; Michael R. McCullough Jr., Charles P. McCullough, one daughter, Nichole M. Soileau and husband Travis, two grandchildren, Issac P. Soileau, Dylan McCullough.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, John P. McCullough and Florine Leddy McCullough, one son, Ansel P. McCullough, one brother, John Paul McCullough Jr.
Mike was a Vietnam Veteran serving his country from 1966 to 1968 in the United States Navy. He was stationed on the battleship USS St. Paul, “The Fighting Saint”. He received a Combat Action Ribbon, Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal with one Silver Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal-Foreign, Rep. Vietnam MUC Gallantry Cross-Foreign.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Mike loved to fish and he especially enjoyed time spent with his grandson, Issac.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
