EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Michael William Pitre announces his passing on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington at the age of 53. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at New Hope Fellowship in Eunice with Pastor Chris Frye officiating.
Even though Michael was born with multiple disabilities, he especially enjoyed going for rides and eating. His most favorite place to nap was on a big bean bag. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his parents, Joseph and Doris Lewis Pitre of Eunice; his brother, Shawn Pitre of Lafayette; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and extended family and friends.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at New Hope Fellowship in Eunice on Saturday, January 23 from 10 a.m. until time of services. Masks are requested during the visitation and service.
