Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, at 1 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church for Mose Milson Jr., 83, who died Feb. 27, 2019, at The Ellington of Rayne Nursing Home.
Services will be conducted by Sherard Joseph.
Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda Milson; three sons, Darrell Milson Sr. (Aletta) and Stanford Milson (Nona), both of Crowley, and Tyrone Henry (Mary) of Beaumont, Texas; seven daughters, Gail Milson, Donna Faye Milson, Michelle Pitre (Martin), Stephanie Goodwin (Milton) and Jennifer Pete (Carlton), all of Crowley, Bridget Handy Gibson (David) of Baker, and Terrie Lynn Butler (Kevin) of Lafayette; one sister, Gloria Clark of Los Angeles, California; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mose Milson Sr. and Clara Briggs; and his siblings, Warren Milson Sr., Lucinda Reed, Flora Bundrant, Helen Mouton, Johnny Milson, Frank Milson Sr., Eva Mae Milson, Mildred Jones and Ethel Lee Perron.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, at Jerusalem Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until time of service.
