It is with great sadness that the family of Myoshi E. Godfrey announces her passing on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:25 p.m. in Sulphur. She was 47.
A celebration of life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 23 at 10 a.m. at Word Ministries in Eunice.
Interment will be at LA Funeral Services and Crematory with Rev. Caleb Semien of Word Ministries officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23 from 8 a.m. until time of service at Word Ministries in Eunice.
Myoshi enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her spouse Patrick Bernard Godfrey Jr. of Eunice, her sons Alex Godfrey and Xavier Easter, both of Eunice; her mother Mary Frances Savoy, her brother Upendra K. Savoy of Abilene, Texas; and her sisters Trivella Q. Savoy (Michael) of Eunice, Edith P. White (Homer) of Lafayette.
She is preceded in death by her father Joseph H. Savoy Sr., a brother Joseph H. Savoy Jr., her paternal grandparents John and Clemitine Savoy and maternal grandparents Oreila and Joseph Gallow.
Pall bearers will be Joseph Pitre, Perry Jones Sr., Perry Jones Jr., Preston Stevens, Louis Thomas Jr., and Marshall Monroe.
Frank Brothers Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of all arrangements.
