IOTA~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Nicholas Roy Miller announces his passing on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley at the age of 40. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry Celebrant.
Nicholas loved to play in his toy room and watch his favorite movies, Ninja Turtles and The Muppet take Manhattan. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his brother, William Wayne Miller of Iota; his three sisters, Kathy Wilson of Krotz Springs, Susanne Trahan and husband, John of Leroy and Jessica Comeaux and husband, J.C. of Rayne; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mary Miller and a brother, Danny Miller.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Iota on Friday, May 10th from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, May 11th from 8:00 am until time of services. Mrs. Rita will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Friday.
