VILLE PLATTE - It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Pam Clark Fontenot, who is gone too soon at the age of 61. Born on May 27, 1958, Pam died peacefully at her home in Ville Platte on February 16, 2020.
Pam worked as a Cashier most of her life because she loved interacting with people. She truly never met a stranger! She valued spending time with her family, and loved salt water fishing and gardening with her husband and ‘traveling the back roads’ to anywhere and everywhere with her family. Pam always found real pleasure in cooking for others.
Pam will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Michael Steve Fontenot of Ville Platte, La; her brothers Mike (and Gail) Clark of Lanse Meg, La, and Paul Clark of Eunice, La; her sister Lanette ‘Willie’ Clark of Tulsa, OK; her sister-in-law Bonnie Fontenot of Ville Platte, La. and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Jackie Clark of Eunice, La., and nephew David Eric Clark.
It was Pam’s nature to help anyone in need, but did not want to burden others, so she requested there be no service upon her death. Prayers are welcomed and condolences can be shared at, 121 St. Paul St., Ville Platte, LA 70586.
