Paul Littell Johnson passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the age of 76.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Msgr. Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
He is survived by his companion, Patricia Bass of Eunice; one son, Russell B. Johnson and wife Missy of Rockanham, NC; two daughters, Sherry J. LeBlanc and husband Oscar of Eunice, Pamela Kay Johnson and companion David White of Eunice; one step-daughter, Natalie Jenkins and husband Paul of Kinder; one brother, Frank Johnson of Lafayette; seven grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Johnson and Rosa Fontenot Johnson; one sister, Pearly Mae J. Thimmesch.
Paul was an accomplished accordion player who loved Cajun and French music. He sang and played the drums as well. Paul was a past member of the CFMA.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen for visitation on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until time of service.
