Randy Paul Matte, II passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the age of 27. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
At the request of family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 8 a.m. until time of Service.
Randy is survived by his wife, Chasity Fruge Matte; his father, Randy P Matte; his mother, Rita Blanchard Rozas and husband Marcus; one step son, Tyler Fruge; one step daughter, Destiny LeJeune; one brother, Brett Matte; two step brothers, Bryan Rozas, Andrew Rozas; one sister, Skylar Matte Carpenter and husband Bryce; one step sister, Adrienne LeJeune and husband Drake, two step grandchildren, Rhyliee and Jaxson; maternal aunt, Wendy Eason and husband Reggie; maternal uncle, Kevin Blanchard and wife Misty; maternal grandfather, Shelly Blanchard and wife Wanda; paternal aunts, Judy Andrepont, Shirley Hollier, Frances Matte.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Yvonne Matte; his maternal grandmother, Ella Jane Blanchard and one sister, Yvonne Matte.
As per the Governor’s mandate, masks are required and we are currently limited to a capacity of 50 people. Practice social distancing.
