Roland J Soileau, Sr. passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the age of 79. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Matt Hebert officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Roland is survived by one son, Roland “Jim” Soileau, Jr. and wife Kayla; one daughter, Shelly Jenkins and husband Harry; three step daughters, Gerry Savoy, Wedna Smith, Sandra Whitaker; one step son, Troy LeJeune; two brothers, Jessie Soileau, Wilton Soileau; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Soileau and Rita Duplechin Soileau; his wife, Joyce Lavergne Soileau; one brother, Ronald Soileau; his first wife, Hilda Mae Deaville Soileau.
