BASILE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Ronald LeBlue announces his passing on Friday, October 12, 2018 in the comfort of his home at the age of 60. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Tee Mamou with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Ronald was a mechanic who loved tinkering with things and also loved to hunt and fish but most of all he loved being with his children and grandchildren. Ronald was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his four sons, Shane LeBlue and wife, Kim, Chad LeBlue and wife, Lainey and Blake LeBlue all of Basile and Samuel LeBlue of Eunice; four brothers, J.B. LeBlue, Jr. of Basile, Donald LeBlue of Elton, Kenneth and Robert LeBlue of Basile and Terry LeBlue of Lake Charles, his four joys of his life his grandchildren, Sophie, Noah, Daulton and Levi LeBlue; and his significant other, Christine Fontenot; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J. B. and Mary Courville LeBlue.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Saturday.
