Retired Master Sergeant Shelby Joseph Jeanice, age 85, a native of Elton, Louisiana and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on Thursday February 15, 2018.
A visitation was held in his honor on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux, LA from 9:30 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. The burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, LA.
He is survived by his wife Florence Jeanice; three sons, Marty Jeanice, Kerry Jeanice, Byron Jeanice; daughter, Lisa Daigle, and brother, Homer Jannise.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alcie Jeanice; mother, Lorice Jeanice; two brothers, Henry Janice, Mentar Janice; two sisters, Sophie Vizena, Bessie Foreman.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 24 years. He served honorably in the Vietnam War. He loved his entire family and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local VFW.
