EUNICE~It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Tammie Kay Fruge announces her passing on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 56. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Jim Cormier officiating.
Tammie loved hummingbirds and camping, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her husband, Keith Fruge of Duralde; her children, Christopher McBride and wife, Kristin of Baton Rouge, Kimley Triplett of Duralde, Macy Triplett of Reddell, Lacey Courville and husband, Kelly of Duralde and Jerod Fruge and wife, Mallori of Duralde; one brother, Tony Dougia of Walker; two sisters, Janice Monier of Reddell and Cindy Menier of Lafitte; the eight joys of her life, her grandchildren, Molly Kate, Graham, Jayce, Hayden, Lexi, Addyson, Audree and Lillian; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Dougia and Leola Soileau Vidrine; siblings, Cathy Hanks and Sue Mclin.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, June 14th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, June 15th from 7:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday.
