EUNICE- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Terry W. Doucet announces his passing on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Acadian Medical Center at the age of 64. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at 4:00pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Rev. Regina Hickman officiating.
Terry will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him, especially by his wife of 40 years, Gwynne Veillon Doucet of Eunice; son, Terrence “Blake” Doucet and fiancé, Jessica Fuselier of Eunice; daughter, Penny Doucet Garcia and husband, Erick of Eunice; three brothers, Nicholas Dale Doucet and wife, Maria of Lafayette, Lee Doucet and husband, Bobby of Sun City, AZ, and Joseph Michael Doucet of Ogden, UT; two sisters, Marcia Doucet Angelle and husband, Michael of Arnaudville and Barbara Taylor of New Iberia; two grandchildren, Mateo and Luka Garcia; proud Pepaw to five fur babies; and extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Doucet; and mother, Dolores Cooley Doucet.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, February 13th from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
