Velma Sattler Rougeau passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Clinton Sensat officiant. Burial will follow in St. Thomas More Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary at 6 p.m. by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. on Monday until time of Services.
Velma is survived by her husband, Randel Rougeau; two sons, Charles Rougeau and wife Jeanne, Shannon Rougeau; one daughter, Vanessa Brown and husband Dominic; one brother, Charles Sattler; two sisters, Shirley McGee, Dorothy Brown; six grandchildren, Morgan Johnson, Mollie Sylvester, Abbie Gotreaux, Kimberlin Brown, Seth Rougeau, Luke Rougeau; one great-grandchild, Parker Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gurvey and Ella LeJeune Sattler; one brother, Roy Sattler; one sister, Carolyn Pousson.
