Vera Anne Hundley Dischler passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at the age of 86.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Eunice. Bro. Dennis Gotreaux will officiate.
At the request of the family visitation will begin on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 AM until time of services.
Anne is survived by three daughters; Sylvia “Button” Dischler Stanford and husband Julien, Sharon Dischler Sullivan and husband Gary,, Janice “Jan” Dischler Moon, four sons; Donald Dischler Jr. and wife Lynette, Mark Dischler and wife Vanessa, Karl Dischler and wife Jeanne, Bruce Dischler and wife Wendy, two sisters; Hilda H. Welch, Wilda H. Beck, twenty-eight grandchildren, fifty-six great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Hillman Hundley and Vera Williams Hundley, her husband, Donald Ray Dischler, Sr., one brother, Samuel Walter Hundley, one sister Carolyn Hundley Gilfillian, one great grandchild, Jana Michelle Zannini and one son-in-law Cosimo Joseph Martello I.
In lieu of flowers, donations are graciously accepted towards funeral expenses and can be made at Quirk and Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th Street, Eunice, La. 70535.
