EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Windy Guillory Schoeffler announces her passing on Sunday, June 09, 2019 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving daughters, family and friends. She was 60. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Guillory Cemetery with Deacon Mike Guillory officiating.
Windy was a most loving, caring mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend and will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren, as well as many other things such as gardening, fresh flowers and vegetables, drinking Coca Cola and eating Chinese food. She was an amazing cook and cooked the best chicken and sausage stew. Windy was very smart and had an excellent memory, and she always had a pair of white flip flops. Left to cherish her memory is her three daughters, Daphne Oge' and husband, Joshua and Heather Fontenot and husband, Blake both of Eunice, Samantha Joubert and husband, Marcus of Kinder; her loving father, Percy Guillory of Eunice; her life time companion of nineteen years, Freddie Nery of Eunice; her three brothers, Randy Guillory and wife, Tiffany of Tennessee, Sandy Guillory and wife, Marie of Eunice and Allen Guillory and wife, Rachel of Duralde. The joys of her life, her ten grandchildren, Bayleigh, Rylie, Wesley, Alaya, Marleigh, Joubert twins, Vivian, Audra and Lucas; her canine companion, Rosie; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Joann Guillory and brother, Eric Guillory.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, June 11th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, June 12th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Mike Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:30 on Tuesday evening.
