Ardoin's Funeral Home 911 first responders BBQ & balloon release event

On Monday, Ardoin’s Funeral Homes gave free barbecue plate lunches for all first-responders, as well as others who work to serve its community. Bill Wimberly, Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice manager said 200 plates were prepared. There were volunteer cooks, barbecueing pork steaks. Ardoin’s staff and other volunteers prepared and served the plate lunches. The pick-up plate luncheon was held from 11 a.m. until. There was a balloon release for all those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. The Rev. Andrew Bates, pastor at First Baptist Church in Eunice, extended a blessing and honor to those who sacrificed their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
