Christmas Festival at the Eunice Community Garden

The Eunice Community Garden had its first ever Christmas Festival Thursday evening. The Christmas festive-lighted family oriented event was free to the public.
Hundreds of people, with their families, were seen on the grounds of the Eunice Community Garden and Sensory Garden enjoying all the different fun activities, festivities, games, and refreshments. Some of the refreshments included hot cocoa, hot dogs, gumbo, popcorn and drinks.
There were over 15 booths at the Eunice Community Garden. Many Eunice businesses, organizations, civic clubs, churches, LSUE, and individuals were part of the event as they manned their booths, Some booths gave free gift items and tokens, arts and crafts, while other booths held games and activities for kids.
Children enjoyed face painting and Santa Claus was on hand for all boys and girls.
