The City of Eunice held an Inauguration Ceremony Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at the Eunice High School Auditorium with Master of Ceremonies Van Reed.
Reed welcomed all guests in the audience.
The presentation of colors was given by the Boy Scout Troop 425, with the Pledge of Allegiance led by the Girl Scout Troop 1016.
Harlie LeBouef sang The National Anthem next on the program.
An opening prayer was led by the Rev. Chris Frye, pastor of New Hope Fellowship.
The Honorable Judge Terry Hoychick performed the Oath of Office with each elected official.
Representing Ward 1 and taking the oath of office was Chad Andrepont, with his wife Kasey, along his side.
Councilwoman Ward II Germaine Simpson took the oath of office along side was her uncle Lawrence Simpson.
Randall “Randy” Reed, Councilman Ward III, was present with his wife Jennifer “Jenny” Reed.
Councilwoman Ward IV Connie Thibodeaux took her oath of office with her daughter Addie Elisabeth Thibodeaux beside her.
Marion “Nootsie” Sattler, Councilman at Large, was present with his wife Lori Sattler.
Kyle LeBouef, Chief of Police, took his oath of Office, with his wife Andrea beside him.
Scott A. Fontenot, Mayor, and his wife Katie present, was sworn in officially by Judge Hoychick.
At the conclusion of the inaugural ceremony Latisha Robinson, a worship song leader at New Hope Fellowship, sang a selection “God Bless America.” (Photos by Myra Miller)
