"Game On: Press Start for Success" theme for EHS Renaissance Pep Rally

Eunice High School held its annual Renaissance Academic Pep Rally Friday morning with a program themed, “Game On: Press Start for Success.” The pep rally gives students an opportunity and privilege of earning and winning T-shirts, prizes, electronics, awards, and much more, for their hard work earned in the classroom.
Many sponsors and businesses donate to the event every year.
The emcees for the morning program included Jay Caswell, Kasey Andrepont and Alicia Guillory Bielstein.
Students enjoyed music and line-dancing and a prize patrol team that threw trinkets and candy to students at different time intervals throughout the program.
There were different performances provided by the EHS Emeralds, EHS Cheerleaders, and EHS Color Guard.
There were student performances Bryan Allen, Michael Resendiz, Jaquan Calloway, Waylon Carmouche, and Bryan Allen.
Awards were presented to students for GPA, perfect attendance, Good Behavior, Attendance Awards, Student Perfect Attendance, Teacher Perfect Attendance, Power Testers, Scholar Athlete, AP Test Award, Top Cat Awards, Associate’s degree Recognition, AR Awards, All A’s Awards, ACT 22+Club members, Science Fair, A’s and B’s honor roll recognition, FFA Awards, Level Up Award, and Best Homeroom.
Eunice High presented $100 Visa gift cards to New Teacher of the Year Jeanne Elfert, Teacher of the Year Kaitlin Manuel, Student of the Year Fajah Guillory, and Support Person of the Year Jamie Smith.
Receiving the grand prize of an Apple iPad was Aniya Strauss, a freshman.
