Trunk or Treat at LSUE

LSU Eunice hosted its fourth annual Trunk or Treat on campus Sunday afternoon. The event was free to the public. There were 31 Halloween decorated vendors plus seven local fire and police vehicles. People manning the vendors gave out candy to the trick-or-treaters.
The event was hosted by LSUE Staff Senate with help from various campus groups as well as community partners including the Eunice Fire Department, Eunice Marshal’s office, the Eunice Police Department, St. Landry Parish Sheriff, and others.
Nearly 2,000 people were counted at the Trunk or Treat event. Dr. Paul Fowler, director of institutional effectiveness and accrediation at LSUE, was the official counter at the entrance of the event.
This is the largest count of people attending since the first annual event.
