The 2016 Kiwanis Christmas Parade held Dec. 8 included bands, pep squad members, queens, and of course at the conclusion was Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Eunice Chamber of Commerce elected a prsident-elect and  six board members at a meeting Tuesday. Broch Leger, of LAS Fire & Safety/Iron Horse Sales & Service, was elected president-election. Board members are John Pucheu, attorney at law;  Carey Lawson, LSUE director of university advancement; Jennifer Cobb Reed, Louisiana Academy of Beauty; Kassie Rougeau, John Maxwell Leadership trainer; Jeff Willis, LSUE athletic director (back); and Leger (back right). Board member Scott Smith,  CEO Mercy Regional /Acadian Medical Center, is not pictured.
