25th annual Noel on the Prairie

Thirty two Eunice Merchants presented the 25th annual Noel on the Prairie Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and again Sunday from 12 noon until 4 p.m. Many shoppers were in Eunice shopping at local businesses and merchants with many businesses offering discounts on merchandise. Trunk or Treat at LSUE

LSU Eunice held its fifth annual “Trunk or Treat” from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The free community event was held on the campus of LSUE.
There were 38 Halloween decorated booths and vendors, from local businesses, groups, clubs, and l fire and police vehicles manned by Halloween dressed volunteers giving candy out to 2,000 people who attended.

St. Edmund High School homecoming parade

St. Edmund High School held its homecoming parade Friday afternoon. The parade's theme was Festivals. Many class floats were part of the parade as well as spirit group, bands, football team, class reunion floats, queens, and homecoming maids.
The parade marshal this year was Doris Brown.
