Veterans Day program held at the VFW Post 8971

A Veterans Day ceremony was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the VFW Post 8971 hall. All those who have served and are currently serving in the military were honored and recognized during the event.
Each veteran at the ceremony had the opportunity to introduce themselves and the military branch he or she served in.

St. Edmund High School holds homecoming parade

St. Edmund High School held a small school homecoming parade Friday afternoon prior to their homecoming game. The parade marshal for the parade was Dr. Gary LaFleur. St. Edmund High students celebrate Homecoming this week. Students dressed out of school uniforms this week to celebrate the festivities. Monday is Country verses Country Club Day, Tuesday is declared Holiday Day as students will dress as their favorite holiday; on Wednesday students will dress as their favorite Celebrity and Thursday seniors will dress as senior citizens and underclassmen will dress as little kids.
The St. Edmund Blue Jays will play against the North Central Hurricanes on Friday evening for their homecoming game.
