In Honor and Remembrance ceremony was held Tuesday evening at the Eunice Circle Park. The 911 (Sept. 11) ceremony was sponsored by Woodmen of the Life Chapter 243 in conjunction with VFW Post 8971, American Legion Post 129 and the DAV Chapter 19.
The ceremony, presented each year, is given to pay honor and recognition to the heroes and victims of Sept. 11, 2001 and for the community to never forget that tragic day on Sept. 11, 2001.

Students at Eunice High had the opportunity to dress out of uniform this week in celebration of homecoming week.

Eunice public school students reported for their first day of school Thursday.
