AN ORDINANCE TO REQUIRE ALL APPLICANTS WHO ARE APPLYING TO BE APPOINTED TO A BOARD OR COMMISSION TO BE INTERVIEWED BY THE ST. LANDRY PARISH COUNCIL AT A ST. LANDRY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING PRIOR TO THE PARISH COUNCIL MAKING THE APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OR COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the St. Landry Parish Council appoints individuals to Boards and Commissions in St. Landry Parish.
WHEREAS, the St. Landry Parish Council must determine the qualifications and ability of the applicants to fulfill the requirements, responsibilities, and duties of the position on the Board or Commission that they are applying for.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL FOR ST. LANDRY PARISH GOVERNMENT that an applicant for an appointment to a Board or Commission in St. Landry Parish must go before the St. Landry Parish Council for an interview at a St. Landry Parish Council full council meeting in order to be eligible for the appointment to the Board or Commission that they are applying for.
