PUBLIC NOTICE
St. Landry Parish Council is accepting applications for appointments to the following commissions/boards:
1. One appointment to St. Landry Parish Housing Authority for a five-year term. (08-04-2024 – 08-04-2029)
2. Two appointment to St. Landry Parish Solid Waste Disposal District for a four-year term. (08-31-2024 – 08-31-2028)
3. One appointment to Bayou Plaquemine Gravity Drainage District No. 12 for the remaining of four-year term. (07-15-2023 – 07-15-2027)
***ALL APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE WITH ADDRESS MATCHING BOARD AND COMMISSION HE/SHE IS APPLYING FOR TO BE CONSIDERED FOR BOARD AND A BACKGROUND CHECK.***
All applicants must be residents of St. Landry Parish and reside in the District of which they are applying to serve. Applications are available online at www.stlandrypg.org or at the Council’s Office at 131 West Bellevue St. in Opelousas. Deadline for applications is July 3, 2024.
