Executive Director- St. Landry Parish Housing Authority
The St. Landry Parish Housing Authority (SLPHA) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Director to lead our housing agency. STLPHA is a pivotal organization committed to providing affordable housing solutions in St. Landry Parish. With a comprehensive portfolio, including housing solutions in St. Landry, including Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Low Rent Public Housing Programs. SLPHA plays a crucial role in meeting the diverse housing needs of our community.
Qualifications of Position Requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience in housing management, community development, public administration, or a closely related field.
Four years in a significant management capacity at a public housing authority or equivalent experience.
Supervised a staff of eight (8) or more for the at least two years.
Prior skills in budgeting, personnel management and public relations.
Experience with the administration of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and related housing programs.
