2 dead in shooting at Morrow (updated)

Update: Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz has confirmed that an additional victim of last night's shooting in Morrow has died in an area hospital. The victims are identified as Michael Thomas, 29 of Washington who died at the scene, Ladarious Keller, 20 of Morrow, and Emmerick Simon 19, of Bunkie were also passengers inside the vehicle. Last night Ladarious Keller died as a result of his injuries after being transported to the hospital. Simon underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition. Both autopsies are scheduled for today. The shooting occurred on Cook St. on October 5, 2020 at approximately 8:15 pm.
There was an additional passenger inside the vehicle identified as Ladrius LeBlanc, 21 of Lebeau but did not sustain any injuries.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz confirmed that his detectives were on the scene of a possible drive-by shooting in the Morrow area.
The sheriff reported the shooting at 9:55 p.m. Monday in an email.
Reports indicate that three people have been shot. Two of the victims are being transported to a local hospital and the third person has died at the scene.
No other information was released.
