A 16-year-old male was shot at least three times while walking in the 200 block of North Vivian on Thursday.
Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said the shots came from a vehicle that traveled away on Amazon Street.
The victim underwent surgery and is expected to survive, he stated in a news release.
