Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is asking the public’s help to solve a cold case homicide.
At 11:50 p.m. on April 3, 2015, the Crowley Police Department responded to Fat Boy’s Convenience Store at 324 W. Second St. where they discovered two victims fatally shot inside of a vehicle.
Victim #1, identified as Jordan Andrus of Crowley, was found unresponsive, lying on the concrete. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from two gunshot wounds.
Victim #2, the driver, Cornelius Cain, was shot multiple times and died on the scene.
The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a four-door 2000-2005 Buick La Saber, dark in color (either black, dark blue or dark green) with wrinkled window tint.
According to witnesses the shooter exited the Buick in a slumped position and ran towards the victim’s vehicle. As he approached the driver’s door, where Cain was sitting, the suspect fired his gun (an unknown make .40 caliber), striking both victims.
The suspect then re-entered his vehicle and fled the scene heading west on U.S. Hwy. 90 / Second Street.
