Acadia Parish Sheriff seeks 4 in connection with burglaries

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office has secured arrest warrants for two men believed to be involved in a recent rash of vehicle burglaries in the northeast portion of Acadia Parish, particularly Church Point.
Investigators are also seeking two people of interest who may have been involved in these crimes or may have information regarding these crimes, Sheriff KP Gibson said in a news release.
Gibson said, “Our investigators still have a lot of work to do regarding these burglaries. Obtaining arrest warrants for several of the burglaries does not mean that these persons were working alone or that others were not involved separately.”
Gibson added, “Our efforts will continue to take these suspects into custody, locate persons of interest and solve these crimes.”
Arrest warrants have been issued for:
Christopher Barnard, 43, of Church Point. His last known address is 119 Gayle Drive, Church Point. He is a white male, 6’ in height weighing 150 pounds. He has short black hair and is clean shaven.
Raymond Mouton, 50 of Lake Charles. Mouton’s last known address is 1101 Canvasback St., Lake Charles. He is a white male, 5’10” in height weighing 165 pounds with black hair and light unshaven facial hair.
Both suspects have outstanding warrants for simple burglary.
Persons of interest being sought for questioning are:
Carlyss Mouton, 41, of Iowa. Her last known address is 5606 Highway 14 in Iowa. She is a white female, 5’2” in height weighing 116 pounds. She has brown hair with a thin build.
Raquel Higginbotham, 48, of Church Point. Her last known address is 125 South Broadway in Church Point. She is a white female, 5’4” in height weighing 130 pounds with dark hair and a medium build.
