St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s detectives said the female found dead in a ditch near Washington was killed before she was placed there, according to a news release from Deputy Chief Eddie Thibodeaux.
The cause of death is undetermined, he state.
“The cause of death is undetermined. What we know is that she is a black female early to mid twenties 5’5” to 5’6” in height and average weight 110 to 115. Seems to have been well kept person. We located a Texas state University graduate school lanyard with a single key on it belonging to the victim. Her hair is in braids, perfect teeth, looks to be fit. Preliminary reports show no drugs in her system,” the news release stated.
