Car shot at Northwest Pavilion

A car was hit by one 9mm bullet at about 10:15 p.m. Sunday as three men played basketball at the Northwest Pavilion, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
The three playing basketball, ages 18, 20 and 41, are related, he said.
When officers arrived the three were not present.
When the shooting occurred they hid behind a vehicle and then took off running to the west of the pavilion, he said.
The call about the shooting came from a resident in the area.
The trio playing basketball said hey heard the shots, which apparently came from a vehicle, Fontenot said.
Fontenot said no reason has been established for the shooting.
Casings were found on Samuel Drive, he said.
