Chief: Wounded man knew nothing

A man who was wounded in the leg told police he was minding his own business and realized he was bleeding, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said. Police met the man at Acadian Medical Center on June 3 — at about 9 p.m. — following an evening of gunfire in some usual locations. “The victim was shot and was at the hospital.
