Crime Stoppers of Acadia seeks information on fugitive

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies need the public’s help to locate a wanted fugitive on the charge of cruelty of a juvenile, according to a news release from Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish.
On Jan. 25, an investigation began regarding a 2-year-old child receiving second degree burns by being placed in scolding water as a form of discipline. This investigation has led to an arrest warrant being issued for Kenneth Stevens.
Stevens is described as a black male, 6’2” in height weighing about 180 pounds. He has a thin build with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is 200 Kathy-Meadows Lane apartment number 25 in Crowley. Stevens’ photo can also be seen on the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Stevens is asked to call the tips line at 789-TIPS or download the P3 app on a mobile device to report a tip anonymously.
 All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Kenneth Stevens.
