St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs the public’s help in solving a shooting in the Eunice area.
At about 2:30 a.m. July 15, deputies responded to Aguillard’s Trailer Park located on U.S. 190 west of Eunice. The complainant reported a shooting in progress and his mother was shot through a window of the home.
When deputies arrived, they located the victim lying on the kitchen floor suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim stated she and her husband were sleeping when they were awoken by the sound of multiple gunshots. Nine bullet holes were located in the home. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
