Drive-by reported Sunday

No injuries were reported in a drive-by shooting here early Sunday.
Police Chief Jimmy Broussard said the incident occurred in the early morning hours — about 1:40 a.m. — Sunday, Jan. 13, in the 400 block of Spann Avenue.
“About five rounds were shot at the residence,” Broussard said. “There were no injuries.”
The chief added that the intended victims “are not cooperating” with police in the investigation. However, Broussard confirmed that surveillance video shows a dark-colored car in the area at the time of the incident.
Anyone with any information is urged to call the Crowley Police Department at 783-1234.
In an unrelated incident, two Crowley men were arrested on Sunday after allegedly leading State Police on a pursuit on Interstate 10 from Westlake to Lake Charles.
State Police say the pursuit began after troopers attempted to pull over a 2012 Chrysler 200 around 7 p.m. Sunday. Troopers say they attempted to pull over the vehicle for a traffic violation just west of Sulphur.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as 39-year-old Travis F. Reed of Crowley, briefly stopped before fleeing the scene.
Reed allegedly led troopers through the city of Westlake where he sideswiped a vehicle before heading back onto I-10.
Troopers deployed spike strips on Interstate 210 where the pursuit ended. The pursuit lasted for about 15 minutes, according to troopers.
Reed and another passenger, 30-year-old Lionel S. Clement, also of Crowley, were arrested and transported to the Calcasieu Correction Center.
