Michael Joseph Comeaux, 30 of Eunice, was arrested on one count of possession of pornography involving juveniles and one count of indecent behavior with juveniles., according to a news release from Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.
The arrest was a result of a joint investigation with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police, and Eunice Police Department following a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
He was also charged by the Eunice Police for aexual battery.
He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. Comeaux is also listed in the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s arrest report as being booking. His address in that report is 5500 block of Highway 90 E, Lake Charles. He listed as being arrested by the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office.
Landry, in the news release, stated, “Keeping Louisiana children safe is a top priority for my office. I am grateful for the support of Chief (Randy) Fontenot, the Eunice PD, and all our partners working to bringing child predators to justice.”
