After Eunice Police arrested an 18-year-old man who had hid in an attic they found a machine gun among the five weapons seized, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
Trevon Lee Jones of the 800 block of South Beulah was apprehended in the attic of the Sunrise Apartments close to 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Police borrowed a thermal imaging device from the fire department to find Jones in the attic.
