Two juveniles were wounded in a shooting that occurred after 7 p.m. in the 400 block of East Maple, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
One juvenile was taken to a Lafayette hospital and another to Acadian Medical Center, he said.
Details about the shooting were still being investigated, Fontenot said.
Police believe two groups were involved.
The area is near where police found several casings from an AR-15 type rifle a few weeks ago, but Fontenot said the shooting investigation had not reached the level of determining the weapon used.
