The victim of shooting on May 21 in the 1000 block of West Ash Avenue has been identified as Jeffery Rooks, 21, of Eunice.
Police Chief Kyle LeBouef also reported that no arrest has been made in the shooting.
A juvenile was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the shooting.
Police responded to a report of two people having been shot while inside a residence.
