Former DARE officer, TRIAD coordinator Theme Ledee dies in shooting

Former St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office DARE and TRIAD officer Theme Ledee died in a shooting on Lee Garland Drive in the Opelousas area on Monday, according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
At 4:05 p.m. a caller stated one male subject was shot in the chest and was not breathing or responding.
