St. Landry Crime Stoppers and the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating the suspects involved in two vehicle burglaries in the Opelousas area.
On April 14, deputies were dispatched to Cypress Drive in Opelousas for an attempted vehicle burglary. The owner’s surveillance camera shows that at about 4:03 a.m, a white male wearing a towel on his hand was attempting to break into his vehicle.
On April 15, deputies were dispatched to Rue De Hunter Road in Opelousas for two vehicle burglaries. Unknown suspects stole a wallet, a purse and a set of keys out of a 2016 silver Suburban and a 2015 white Chevrolet 1500. Prior to the owners cancelling the credit cards, one was used at the CITGO in Washington Louisiana three times to purchase fuel.
