A St. Landry Parish jury convicted Xavier Watson for the attempted second-degree murder of a 14-year-old juvenile on May 4, 2022.
According to a news release from St. Landry Parish District Attorney Chad Pitre the jury deliberated for an hour before delivering a verdict on Wednesday.
