A 15-year-old male was arrested for an April 23 shooting that wounded two other juveniles.
The juvenile arrested Tuesday was charged with disturbing the peace, illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile, negligent injuring and illegal carrying and discharge of weapons.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fotenot said it is the second arrest of a juvenile in connection with the shooting.
A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old male were wounded in a shooting that occurred about 7:30 p.m. in the 400 block of East Maple.
One juvenile was critically injured and flown to a Lafayette hospital for treatment. The other was treated at Acadian Medical Center and released.
Fontenot said the youth who was critically injured has been released from the hospital.
The shooting occurred during a fight involving several people.
Both juveniles that have been arrested are from Eunice, he said.
