Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs help to solve a crime.
Rayne Police are investigating the theft of a utility trailer and a John Deere lawnmower that occurred at about 2:40 a.m. March 23 in the 500 block of Crandle Street.
The suspect vehicle was captured on video surveillance and is described as a newer model white Ford Expedition with dark bottom trim. The trailer was recovered the next day northeast of Lafayette.
The suspect’s vehicle pulling the stolen trailer can be seen on the Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish Facebook page.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or any other crime, is urged to call the tips line at 789-TIPS / 789-8477.
