A Mamou woman and man are accused of exploiting two nursing home residents by using their credit cards.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said a complaint was received a complaint about the the financial exploitation of an elderly nursing home resident on Jan. 3.
As result of that complaint, Tranessa Compton was arrested on Jan. 31.
