Detective Drake Pousson of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office returns to Crime Stoppers and needs the public’s help in solving a theft in the Eunice area.
On April 23, deputies responded to KZ Crawfish located at 510 Highway 13 near Eunice.
The owner reported that on April 22 at 6 p.m. he parked his trailer loaded with his John Deere zero turn lawnmower Model Z655 next to his building. When he returned at 7 a.m. the following day, he noticed the front gate was damaged and hanging open and the lock appeared to have cut marks on it. The owner then noticed his trailer and riding mower were stolen.
A front vehicle decorative license plate was located near the north side gate. The plate’s frame was black plastic with two medium-sized silver skulls on the bottom. The middle of the plate had “F-150” in bold chromed letters and the word Platinum underneath it in all capital letters. The trailer is a 7’x16’ black 1997 utility trailer license plate number E383524 and has a gate on the back with a round pipe frame.
